Fun Facts about Ava and Noah

• On their first date, Noah and Ava went to Tacos Lopez and ate quesadillas while they talked for a few hours. Ava's mom called her to check in three times during dinner, and Noah thought that he had a bad reputation that he needed to overcome!
• Ava and Noah met while working as servers in the banquet department at Temple Square Hospitality in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Noah caught Ava's eye during her first shift when he came into her event to fix a technical problem. Noah noticed Ava when he helped train her to become a banquet captain.
• Noah and Ava love to spend time outdoors: camping, swimming, fishing, going for walks, etc. They also love to spend their evenings cooking together and laughing.
• They first bonded over a shared love for pastrami
• The first time Noah drove Ava home, he took her in the completely wrong direction. She was only slightly concerned.
• On the first trip Noah and Ava took, the rest of the invited guests bailed, so it ended up being Noah, Ava and Noah's little brother. Noah got two tickets that weekend and thought that was the end of the relationship for sure. Ava acknowledged the red flags, and continued forward anyway…
• Noah has convinced Ava to try caving, rappelling, hammocking, and hunting. Ava has made Noah a cat lover - or at least a cat tolerator!
• While Ava and Noah were long distance, they would often stay up until the early hours of the morning talking on the phone. Much to the chagrin of their roommates.
• Ava and Noah were long distance for 6 months of their relationship while Ava was studying at BYU-Idaho.
• Noah visited Ava at BYU-I many times. He would sleep in the back of his Subaru and shower at a truck stop because he was too cheap to get a hotel room.
• Ava and Noah tried a Cajun seafood boil on their first Valentine's Day together. They ended the night by watching Pride and Prejudice. Not your typical Valentine's Day… (Noah was surprised that he liked the movie as much as he did! ). The seafood boil on Valentine's Day has since become a tradition.
• Two days after their first kiss, Ava called Noah to ask if it was okay if they slowed down. They then talked on the phone until 4am and continued dating just the same… taking it real slow, huh?
